Well the Rebus novel was along the lines of the other fourteen. Rankin is fortunate that he has written so many because he now no longer needs to bother at all with any semblance of characterisation. Not that I care - I'd read it regardless. Stylistically a bit tighter than the previous books in the series. Fewer half-finished sentences which was a relief. Other than that, predicatable but no less enjoyable for it.

Just started Cold Comfort Farm by Stella Gibbons. Lovely light satirical gal's novel.
