Jet lagged is what we is. We is jet lagged and in Buenos Aires.
We arrived here a few hours ago and by midnight local time, Thursday 22nd January will have been around 40 hours long - which is just too long if you ask me.
So to carry on where I left off, the rain did stop and Naomi and I went down the beach and met Sean the kitesurf instructor. The wind was too gusty for water action but Nomes had a fab 2 hour power kite lesson and proved herself to be a natural. We found out that he also ran a clothes shop in Raglan and desgined the T shirts - so the next day we purchased a couple. It's nice to know the designer...I wonder if Stella MaCartney does white water rafting?
Anyway next day...drove up to Aukland, popped into Bob and Grace's hotel to say hi. We missed them but left a message. Last min shopping followed - shoes all round-, then back to Micheala's house and a warm welcome.
We cabbed it into town to meet B and G which was lovely. They were a bit jet lagged but on fomr. They are following the same route as us pretty much with a little less getting wet I think.
B and G went for dinner up the Sky Tower and we met Michaela again. On to the poshest place we've been in the last ten weeks- Pasha. We met the very nice Glyn who runs TVNZ's interactive stuff. He didn't offer Naomi or I a job on the basis of two beers and some dessert wine but we had a good bit of tucker on expenses. (TVNZ's not the BBC's)
Next moring, the morning of Thursday 22nd, the longest day in the world, ever, we were all a little fuzzy except young Hadley (Michealas beautiful son) but we went up the Sky Tower (tallest building in Southern Hemisphere etc) and watched people jump off it. Drove to the Airport and you know the rest.
I love New Zealand. Its very beautiful and the people are friendly and you don't have to jump off things if you don?t want to.
So maybe one or two more days blogging to go. I think I'll miss it.
