OK So The nice man found me a xp computer but then couldn{t get the passworrd so had to call his boss but enough of that I need to get the bus and you need to see:

Moose in BUenos Aires

Naomi in Buenos Aires near the grave of Evita Whose family name is Duarte if anyone wants to tell Tony

The Rio Iguazu

and Finally The Falls themselves

Ooooh my bum. 21 hours on a bus. It wasnīt even a very nice bus. There really isnīt much to add since we last chatted, except weīre 1500k down the line and in a lovely city called Tucaman. Itīs a friendly place, and Naomi and I wondered about somewhat grumpily until blood sugar levels were rasied by chicken and beef respectively. I have just downloaded the driver for my card reader in the hope that I can upload some pics. Iīm going to have to reboot. If no pictures turn up then in all probability I need a password to get back in. Iīll try to get one from the guy who runs this cyber cafe. Heīll realise I have downloaded stuff onto his machine, shout at me in Spanish, (which I wonīt take personally as although my language skills are improving they arenīt past "I would like two beers and a steak please") and throw me out. We will then head back to the bus station for another night on a bus (thatīs 3 out of the last 4) to Mendoza where I will attempt to get Naomi to come white water rafting with me (fat chance)

OK her goes START-SHUTDOWN-OK

Wooo . Dive right in. Left BA at 3pm yesterday on a very comfy coach with fully reclining seats- designed by Brazilians for long distance travel- "vorsprung durk carnival and beach vollyball" as they say in Brazil. Slept through 2 movies as the tracking was out but it all came good for the "Whole Nine Yards" which I watched and fell asleep just before the end. NUff said. We arrived at Puerto Iguazu (pronounced Ig-wha-su) at 9 this morning so thatīs 18 hours on a bus for 1500 km. About 15 hours too long. Small town and not much happenin so we had a shower and jumped on another bus to go to the Falls and then walked down to the train, to get to the walkway across the Rio Iguazu to the top of the falls.

One of the most breathtalking sights of my life.

A huge river just vanishing over the edge of a cliff. Iīd show you the pics but I USB hasnīt made it up here yet. Gobsmacking...I have a smacked gob. I then got a bit carried away and signed Nomes and I up for a trip in a dinghy down the river. It was quite sedate actually and not much sign of the wildlife so I comboīd that with a trip in a power boat to go out under the falls. We got wet. I thought it was brilliant. I was whooping and hollering. Naomi wasnīt. Iīll leave the description of how she felt up to her. Anyhoo we got back, had a beer and nursed our sunburn and then got the maps out. After a quick time and motion study we realised we have to get south quick so we can do what we want to do - that means another 2500Km in the next two days. So leave here tomorrow at noon for a 21 bus trip to Tucaman. I`m charging the minidisc players as I write. OK Love to you all and congratulations to everyone on Celebdaq for launching a quite brilliant site.

BTW if anyone reading this is realted to me fjust fancies it could you just make sure that Mum knows we ok? Cheers.

So we jumped on the plane yesterday at around 3pm in Madrid. Poor old Lisa was having a hell of a time, they wouldn't give a seat to her kid so she had the prospect of spending 12 hours with Ruby on her lap. In comparison the lack of on-demand video on personalised screens ala Virgin Atlantic didn't seem too serious. In fact things did get worse as the in-flight movie was "Gigli". It is that bad. Actually the flight was fine and we got to Buenos Aires at 12.30 am and got a taxi just in time to reach the V&S Hostel before it closed. Slept.

So today Buenos Aires. It is a really exciting city, European like a cross between Budapest, Seville and somewhere else I haven't been. We wondered around and saw all the sites in the centre of town. Like where Evita stood on the balcony and sang with Jonathan Price. The square is still a centre for political demonstration and there are weekly demos to highlight the crimes of the previous military regime. The memorial to the soldiers who died in the South Atlantic conflict is also moving. I never realised so many Argentinian's had died.

We got our bus tickets to go to the Igazu Falls and will depart tomorrow at 3 so hopefully in the morning I can persuade Naomi to go on a tour of the Boca Juniors stadium before hand. Off to find a beer or two in mo and then to eat steak....shouldn't be too difficult! The city is filled with the most fantatstic smells. PS if you have read this could you comment just once to say "hi" or "plank" or something. Decided I need someone to read this if I can be bothered to keep it up. I am very needy if you didn't already know. For the technically minded no photos today as there isn't a USB port on this computer.

Finished cleaning the house and gave Gabriel one last call just to check he was stil coming. He was. Then nos 29 bus to Turnpike Lane tube, change at Finsbury Park onto the Victoria line to Victoia to catch the Gatwick express to Gatwick. Well named these train lines eh? All very smooth 'till then but of course the flight to Madrid is delayed by two hours. We finally arrive at 11.30pm to be greated by....nobody. There is no connecting flight to Buenos Aires on the board so we go through customs, helping this lady with her 2 carry on bags and tiny baby. We discover the other side that the flight has gone without us and Aerlinas Argentinas are putting us up in a hotel and our flight will be tomorrow pm. The baby lady, Lisa is in a bit of state so we do some more bag carrying and I let her use my phone to call her mum......... in Chile......twice. Seemed to help and now we have an invitation to stay with them in Santiago, which is a result. They are originally from Wales and Lisa's mum moved out to Chile 4 years ago, baby Ruby is 13 weeks old and is coming courtesy of granny. The tickets arrived when lisa informed her she was 8 months pregnant. Now writing this on the pda staying in thee largest hotel in Europe. It is big alright. And now Iīm posting this up in the foyer waiting for the coach to atke us to the airport. The whole PDA memory card reader thing seems to work ok. Dunno if itīll be so easy in Argentina.......
