I promise to stop dicking about with this blog template. For a bit.

Long day yesterday. Up for 26 hours. Now very tired but very tired in New York. Sitting waiting for Naomi's new haircut. Aliza and MIike's wedding tonight and home tomorrow.

I thought I might do a Bridget Jones/Dave Gorman type thing while we're away. You know how far travelled, how many interesting geological features spotted, how many starange flora and fauna seen. How many glasses of Shiraz drunk
So here goes:

Dstance traveled: 12 km (white city and back by tube)
Geology: None
Flora: None
Fauna: None
Wine: None, yet

It can and must get better

So let's kick off the real posts. I just want to get a little practice in before Naomi and I head off. We are going to spend the next 3 months in South America and New Zealand and we have just under 2 weeks before we go. The main purposes of this is so I can avoid having to write loads of emails to people saying how we are doing but also keep a record of our holiday. As it's for me and Naomi it makes me feel better about writing it and easier to deal with the fact that nobody will read it. Anyhoo. The first fly in our travel tiger balm is that the person who we thought would be looking after our house while we away may well have pulled out. So anyone want a nice one bedroom flat in N8 London for three months?
